Review on 🚢 Enhanced Communication at Sea: Two Way Radios for Marine Applications by Reggie Stewart

I have always bought ICON marine radios but on my last one the transmit button stopped working. Tried to get it fixed - the ICON store is a few miles away but it's about $100 a minute just to look at it. I also considered buying a part and trying to replace it but there was no guarantee that was the only problem and it was an old unit and the battery needed replacing - $100 more. I could get a new radio for just over €100. A comparable ICON radio is more than twice as expensive and has less power. I wasn't sure I'd like the 'staggered' digital feature - there are no knobs on this radio - but it works great. First season of use (not quite on the water) was really impressed with the battery life and the range was as good or even better than my old ICON compact. Excellent and very compact radio.
