If you want to rebuild and install the cylinder head as VW described, with the camshafts and "cap" (valve cover) in place, THIS TOOL WILL NOT WORK. The T52 PosiDrive bit is too short and the 1/2" square drive is too big. I was able to turn the adapter on my lathe to reduce the outside diameter, which allowed the tool to work on 9 of the 10 head screws. The 10th screw was for this tool is not yet available.I ended up having to remove the bit from the adapter and use a 10mm 3/8" drive hex to turn the bit. If the bit was 18mm longer there would be no problem and none need for mods.
