Used to replace stage sockets that are over 30 years old. The outlet is typically used under the lectern, and the slim DC power adapter is great for lighting (although the lid doesn't close when plugged in). The locking lid works well and stays closed when using standard cables. The main reason we chose this model was to use a decor style outlet. As I mentioned earlier, we replaced an old outlet that was a standard outlet within 2 feet of the Baptistry. It was very easy to swap out the outlet that this cover came with for a GFCI outlet to make it safer to use on the floor. No backlash on measurements when powered off. The screws that attach the box to the bottom fit very close to the edge of the hole, so it's important to cut the hole exactly as shown.
