I keep my grandchildren's toys (1 and 3 years old) in the corner and wanted to add a soft stand for them to sit and play. I received 2 of these kits and they were perfect. They are light and easy to assemble and disassemble when not in use. These are not "thick" pads, but they are practical in the sense that they keep the floor surface at a neutral temperature and scratchy surfaces are comfortable. A month of heavy use and everything still looks beautiful. - Be careful, cat owners! Cats can't resist using them as "scratching posts". Children love to play on them. They have designed their little play corner in a fun and colorful way. No regret.
