Review on 🔒 Enhanced Security Firewall Micro Appliance/Mini PC - Protectli Vault 6 Port, Intel Dual Core i3, AES-NI, Barebone by Rick Bear

I like this box very much. I know it's a rebranded Chinese box, but I don't mind paying for US support locally instead of shipping the box back to Hong Kong or China. The silly thing preventing this from getting 5 runs is the port mark. The designation of the first two WAN and LAN ports makes it difficult to set up the box. I'd rather they just label ports 1-6 so I can use them as needed without causing confusion. I had a previous Unravel box where the first 2 ports were 2 WAN ports. Now I have a choice of reconfiguring the box or living with mislabeled ports that can confuse people. I like the standard AMI BIOS and the box just works. My firewall is low on CPU, so i3 is very redundant but gives me headroom to run a VPN without severely throttling throughput. The box runs cool and barely feels warm. I assume it would get hot if I pushed the CPU.
