Review on 🧤 Warmth and Style Combined: Introducing Heritage Gloves Extreme Winter Black by Sanai Rosario

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Great gloves for cold weather.

I've used these gloves for skeet shooting and skiing in "warm weather" during the winter. First let me say that these gloves are high quality and very well made. They have excellent water resistance and are very ergonomic. For example, these gloves allow me to easily zip up, close ski boots, pull a trigger, and manipulate projectiles while wearing these gloves. The fingers and palms have the perfect grip for shooting and gripping ski poles. I wore these skis for 4 hours yesterday in 24ºF weather and loved it (I actually had to dry them last night as my hands must have gotten sweaty at some point). There are a few flaws but nothing to stop me. refrain from recommending them. The biggest downside to these gloves is that they don't breathe or absorb moisture at all. I find that even in very cold conditions they lock in moisture (sweat) and stay close to your skin - I think it's an Achilles cure for prolonged use in extreme cold. Second, I'm not sure what I think of these "extreme" winter gloves (I guess it depends on your definition of "extreme"). For me, I would say their optimum temperature is in the 10-35ºF range. Much colder they are uncomfortable. Much warmer, your hands turn into a sweaty, swampy mass. This year I refereed a dartboard game in Minnesota in about 5º F, after an hour on the course my fingers were tingling and I could feel the moisture build up. The waterproof properties are excellent, but they are not very breathable.
