Horizontal noise from lights and ceiling fans

I have a Cooler Master AIO and wanted some more matching fans for aesthetic reasons. This was the SP version of the AF fan on my cooler. A positive note is the excellent processing quality. There are noise deadening pads that can be rotated depending on the location of the fan. Also on the body there is a speed switch. They look great and really move tons of air. The downside is that they produce a clicking noise that is greatly amplified when the fans are placed horizontally. The loud hiss of air fades into the background, but the clicking is unbearable. I moved my heatsink to the front of the case so the fans are aligned vertically, that helped a lot. I took out the other fans and put them on the shelf, I can't stand the noise. I'm using my ugly brown Noctuas again, which move a lot of air and are insanely quiet. I've had Corsair fans in the past, so when they're horizontal they click. So this isn't unique to Cooler Master. If you need really quiet fans, buy Noctuas. They last a long time too.
