Works, but the cable is too short

Functionally, it works perfectly. The power connection cable barely reaches the mainboard. It wasn't long enough to reach the control module, which was pressed against the back of the motherboard tray, so I had to pull really hard to get to the next connector on the motherboard. There is a lot of tension on both sides. I hope this doesn't affect the lifespan of the fan. Finally, forget about using the included screws. They were too short and thick to fit in a fan. Your case should have extraโ€ฆ

These things blow, but in a good way!

Be careful what you buy them for. NO aircase, but to be laid around the cooler. I can confirm they blow like crazy at high speed! BUT they are loud. However, this is a choice. I chose to run at full power and accept the noise, but you can run them at medium or low speed and the noise will be reduced. But let's face it - if you run them around a heatsink, you'll want to move AIR! Turn them on and accept that they are loud. If you look at the lifespan, there is no need to babysit them. Ideal for replacing your air pressure CPU fan cooler!

Great for replacing your air pressure CPU fan cooler, but is it worth it? If you want to buy CPU heatsink fans for a "gaming" rig? This is not a purchase for you. I would only use this for normal low level use or for factory PCs that don't need to change RPMs much. Let's say you put this in "S" mode, silent at the lowest RPM, and you have the fan control software. You can "not" change the RPM in the Fan Connroller software, you have to manually select witch mode to use it on the fan itselfโ€ฆ

nothing for lovers of silence

The fan is really efficient, but only suitable for those who are not picky about the volume. Also, they can only be used in two positions: vertical and horizontal with flow down. If you want to install such a fan on the cooler of the air cooler, you make a mistake. In all speed ranges, this fan transmits vibrations despite rubber mounting. If the fan is mounted on the radiator, then only push it and no dust filter in front of the fan. Otherwise, this fan generates a clearly audible hum at 900โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

I thought these were supposed to be high quality fans but when they run above 60% of their speed the fan hub in the case lifts up and cuts into the case's fan mount making a horrible noise. This causes the fans and the housing is damaged. This is very disappointing as they are advertised as a great product but I've never heard of them even from cheap fans which they definitely aren't. Maybe placing the fan further away from the case with shims would help, but that seems ridiculous, evenโ€ฆ

Horizontal noise from lights and ceiling fans

I have a Cooler Master AIO and wanted some more matching fans for aesthetic reasons. This was the SP version of the AF fan on my cooler. A positive note is the excellent processing quality. There are noise deadening pads that can be rotated depending on the location of the fan. Also on the body there is a speed switch. They look great and really move tons of air. The downside is that they produce a clicking noise that is greatly amplified when the fans are placed horizontally. The loud hiss ofโ€ฆ
