Finally there is a cleaning agent that can do more than just whiten. A bartender's friend cleans stainless steel pots and pans where other cleaners can't. Also, my daughter has a granite sink that some chemicals and cleaning products can damage. A bartender friend says it's safe for granite, so I tried it and it worked fine without damaging the sink. This got rid of some of the haze left by the previous person using the wrong cleaner in the sink. I have hard water and have found this to be the best sink cleaner that also prevents hard water from building up. I am very happy that I found this cleaner. If you have really dirty stainless steel pans, just note that this cleaning product is not meant to be used for a long time. I have heard that if the paste from this cleaner is left on a stainless steel surface for a few hours or more it can etch the metal.
