Review on 💅 3 Swords Germany Manicure Pedicure Set Kit (670): Your Ultimate Nail Care Solution by Tiffany Lewis

I was influenced by the rave reviews on here, but I wonder how many fakes! I bought two identical sets for my husband and I. As it is a Christmas present it has not yet been opened. My toenail clipper (the one pictured in this review) fell apart on first use. I was able to "fix" it myself because a tiny metal pin just had to be pushed back between the two pieces to operate. However, it took about half an hour to maneuver, but I was determined to fix it. After fixing it I decided not to use it right away and tried a smaller clip on my nails. It worked well, but it also required a lot of pressure to trim the nails. So, as others have pointed out, it's a somewhat dull blade. For the price of these manicure sets, which claim to be made in Germany where they usually make such excellent steel tools, that's pretty lame. I'm giving it two stars because the zippered pocket and the secure fit of items are a nice feature. Also, a nail file, cuticle pusher, two nail scissors, and tweezers just seem great. Scissors seem to work well so far, such as trimming eyebrows (I know it's not the best way to trim them, but it helps me). Definitely will update this review after trying the freshly repaired toenail clippers. I will wait until my husband gets his gift too. If there are more issues or my toenail clippers fall apart again I will definitely be downgrading this review to one star. I will never buy this brand again and hopefully meet Revain's return policy if needed! please wish me luck UPDATED - 12/23/17 - I downgraded my rating from two stars to one star for the following reasons. My husband opened MY nail set before Christmas because I wanted to expedite possible returns. Although the HIS clippers haven't broken yet, he says they're so stupid he won't use them. As you can read above, the manufacturer responded to my initial review, apologized and suggested that I contact the company separately. I then replied asking for better contact info/email address to get in touch with them. I'm still waiting for her answer. In the meantime, my return period may already have expired. At this point I lost respect for the company and wish I had given ZERO stars! FURTHER UPDATE: 01/15/18. I still haven't heard anything about this company and I'm convinced it's a scam! I'm gearing up to repeat this creepy review of my husband's standalone manicure kit mentioned above. HIS nail clippers are too stupid to even try! I don't know how they manage to ship inferior items at good prices. I think all FAKE star ratings work for them. I was one of the suckers who believed them, ugh!
