This is a great part and it's as bright as a car headlight. You can easily detach it from the mount and walk around with it like a flashlight! The only thing I REALLY dislike about this product is that it uses 18650 batteries, the same ones I use in my vape mod. However, you can't exchange them, I was really hoping to use them for more than a few hours at altitude, I just need to exchange them quickly. Maybe you guys could build a new model with this feature, I have a feeling you guys just want to sell a proprietary part that we can't get anywhere else but yours. The taillight is not rechargeable in any way. You can replace the batteries when she dies. like we did in the 80's. The battery is therefore replaceable and not rechargeable. It's really bright and does the trick! 3 modes: Steady, Strobe Fast and Strobe Slow. I recommend using a slow flash, it is more visible and consumes the least power. After all, this is the brightest and best bike light for a reasonable price. It is durable and will last a long time.
