My daughter normally wears a size 8 sneakers so I chose a size 9 to wear thick wool socks. They fit as expected. They are easy to put on and take off compared to other snowshoes. Inside it is very nice and warm! To be honest I don't even think I need thick wool socks with it. I love the materials! The quality is generally excellent. They were perfect for our Utah ski trip. I can't believe the selling price I paid. Complete stealing of the deal! Much better quality than other cheap brands sold on Amazon for kids winter boots. For things like children's snowshoes that need to be preformed, I prefer to buy well-known brands. The boots are quite light, not heavy. She can walk well in it. They're adorable and stylish on her too, which is a plus! It will look cute with her snow/ski wear as well as with a dress/leggings/coat for a walk around town. In general I would say they are true. If between sizes, go one size up. I would 100% recommend these boots to family and friends! I put the bottom (rubber) part of the boot in the tub and the water didn't get in. I believe they are waterproof. Now I can check out this brand's adult collection for my husband and I. I want them to do it my size! Rzhunimagu! I bet next year I will order the same boots in a larger size for her. I will let you know if I run into any issues on our trip but for now they are fantastic.
