I don't know why they are so expensive but this faucet is way better than the cheap ones from Pera. In fact, it doesn't stick like other faucets! You pull and the beer comes out every time. The shape of the faucet also makes it easy to slide a piece of hose onto it and fill the growler. Flow control is good, but its usefulness is very limited. This doesn't completely solve the foam problem unless your traction system is already close enough to being balanced. If he's off balance (like I was originally), this probably won't help much. In summary, I plan to buy more of these in the future. It's a shame I've only just started with this faucet. Never use the cheaper ones again! When you start barreling, this is one of the parts you shouldn't skimp on. Otherwise you are often annoyed by cheap faucets that stick and get completely stuck. The mechanism this faucet uses is different and far superior.
