Review on 💪 TEAMGROUP T-Force Vulcan G 1TB SSD: SLC Cache, 3D NAND, SATA III, R/W Speed up to 550/500 MB/s by Jerry Anderson

I replaced a WD 250GB hard drive in an old Toshiba laptop with this drive and can't believe the performance difference of the entire laptop. I use Linux (but it works just as well with Winbloz) and it just completely changes the user experience of working on a computer. I was able to download a free program called FoxClone and use it to clone the old drive to the new drive. Both drives were connected to the laptop at the same time. After the cloning process was complete, I installed the new SSD in the laptop, powered it on and proceeded to setup to ensure the drive was showing up correctly for what it really is. I saved and exited the settings, restarted the laptop and WOW! This thing loaded many times faster than a mechanical hard drive. Each app loads fast and runs like hot oil! The best money ever spent on a computer product. Also, I was able to go back and expand the /home partition to use the remaining space. So yes, it's a great device. I hope this lasts long. I'm not a very trusting person so I always keep a few laptop backups on other devices in case that little one decides to break someday.
