I kept an eye on this power strip online for a while and finally gave up and bought it. If you are looking for a 3 prong extension cord rather than an extension cord then you may find that these 3 prong extension cords do not appear to be commercially available and you may be the type of person who spends a lot of time on a seemingly innocuous household product to view online. Well, as you may already know or guessed from my "finally caved and bought" statement, I have this extension and it's perfect. Although I have to admit I was suspicious at first because it seemed a bit short and you might think that 8ft would be more than enough to do something as simple as plugging a TV into an outlet that isn't even located at the other end of the room. I was so confident that this cable was under 8 feet that I measured the damn thing to stop freaking me out (and reveal the truth). Twice. And it really is 8 feet long. So, I guess what I'm trying to say is that if you're thinking about buying this cable, it's worth it, BUT you should probably go a little more than you think. You know, just in case.
