Purchased for PS4 Pro

First I bought it for my PS4 Pro not my laptop. I found that when I upgraded to a 4K TV and started playing 4K games, the system got very hot and the fans inside would turn on quickly or after a few minutes. It will sound like a mini jet engine. This seems like normal behavior, but it's quite annoying to hear. I looked for rear mount fans but the reviews sucked and the internet suggested buying a base cooler. The base is larger than the PS4 Pro so it fits on top easily which is a big plus. . And the fans are silent. Since it plugs into a USB port it only works when the PS4 is on (if it's in sleep mode it depends on how you set up the USB ports when it's in sleep mode but on mine setup I never use them) . The lighting adds a cool effect. I got the one with the blue light to match the PS4 colors. In terms of performance, it definitely gives the desired effect. The PS4 Pro fan still turns on in 4K games, but less often and at a much lower level. It no longer sounds like the PS4 will take off and fly across my room. Nothing will solve the heating issue of 4K games running on PS4 Pro except a redesigned PS4 Pro that will solve the heating issue, but a cooling pad is a great addition to help with that, and probably regardless during long gaming sessions. Play 4K games or not.

Pros
  • ✅ MULTIFUNCTIONAL. KLIM Wind has 2 USB ports, so you have a free port. It keeps your computer cool no matter how old it is or how much you use it. Our customers have seen great results for gaming, photo and video editing, and older laptops. When your laptop overheats and its performance drops, KLIM Wind Cooling will definitely boost its performance. It can also be used with PS4 or Xbox One.
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
