Teaching Chinglish is extremely poor. All the guides you can find on the internet will give you some general advice on how to try to wire it up. For example, your phone is on 2.4 GHz. So at some point I connected both of them to the app. They both broke up a few months later and I tried reconnecting them but it just doesn't work. Step 1 of each guide is to press and hold the ^ (WiFi) button for 3 seconds to make the status light blink. This doesn't happen. Nothing blinks. This is a poorly executed product period. Edit: I found out that the device needs to be unplugged and plugged back in for it to go into pairing mode where the LED is blinking. Bad design again and even worse instructions.
