Review on 🎨 Uchida 1122-12A Le Plume II Double-Ended Markers, Primary Colors, Brush and Fine Tips, Set of 12 by Lisa Kruit

I really enjoyed trying them and was totally disappointed after a few seconds. I've been looking for a set of pastel pencils for a long time and since I had a 60% off coupon at a local store I decided to give them a try. The colors included in this set are: #62 Wisteria (Medium Purple), #60 Blue Sage (Medium Blue), #41 Gray Blue (More Light Teal), #34 Light Green (Light Kelly Green), #70 Mint (Medium Mint ), #68 Daffodil Yellow (Medium Yellow), #22 Lemon Yellow (Bright Yellow), #30 Rosewood (Caramel), #47 Pale Pink (Light Nude), #67 Bubblegum Pink (Medium pink with purple undertones), #57 Rose Pink (medium but more intense pink with stone red) and #66 Dusty Pink (mid gray pink). First of all, the colors are not quite pastel and not as bright as advertised. They're light soft in color if that makes sense. Second, there is no orange tint. 3 pink, but the lightest pink is actually a skin tone. The gray is actually more like sea foam/sea glass/pale turquoise. There are two shades of yellow and lemon yellow is very light, more of a neon/light colour. My biggest issue is that they are sold as pastel markers when they are not. Colors are decent, just not as bright as you'd expect from a $20 art-quality marker set. The markings are very striped. I didn't want the brush tip to start, but they didn't have any others. The fine eyeliner tip is fine, but the Staedtler liners are much smoother (just wish they had more color options). I'm a big fan of Marvy Le Pens. After trying le pen they became one of my favorites so there's nothing wrong with the brand. My shop does not accept returns after they have been used otherwise I would go back and buy the pens. Quality and color are not appropriate for the price. Here are some photos in different lighting conditions of your choice.
