Review on 🐕 Large Dog Tieout Trolley by Petmate by Melissa Hiegel

I compared many variants of a long but very strong trolley for our yellow lab puppy and it was the best combination of the two. The spring on this trolley allows you to donate a little to save your dog's neck if he jumps or likes to test the leash regularly like ours does. The added washers and clips allow the line to be stopped before it hits the house, trees, etc. The roller has been running smoothly and without delay for many months. For assembly, we pre-drilled both holes for the ends of the fishing line. Line to make screwing eyebolts into our deck and wood faster and easier. Also, for extra stability, we wrapped one end around the tree and then attached it through this eyebolt instead of just attaching it to the eyebolt. We put black tape behind each of the lock washers (mentioned above) to reduce the chance of them moving. Now that this system has been running for many months, the line has stretched a bit, so we will tighten the line to take up the slight sag. and it is correct. But I don't see that as a disadvantage, because I could then choose which tie fits best and I think the price for this item is more than fair for us, without the connecting cord. We purchased the Boss Pet - 20ft Beast Dog Tie Out with Spring to use with this cart system. So since I could choose my own tie, I got one with twist clasps, an extra spring and clasps to make the ties more secure. Our pup regularly tests this rope and tries to "befriend" all of the wildlife in our yard and we have been very pleased with its performance, durability and ease of use.
