This racquet is truly 'epic'

I've been playing pickleball for about a year (I have to say I'm addicted - my teammates know exactly what I mean). Although I bought a cheap two-ball racquet before my first game, I've since used an old, not-so-good racquet that I borrowed from the "paddle bags" I play in at the local gym. Meanwhile, my husband started playing around the same time and after six months decided on this particular racquet. And because he loves me, he let me borrow it. Doesn't matter! Playing pickleball with this racket is literally epic. The difference from the old one I borrowed is literally night and day compared to this one. Most pleasing is the feeling of bouncing (vaguely like a tennis ball hitting your tennis racquet, but less noticeable) when you HIT THE BALL (sorry, but again, fellow players know exactly what I mean). I'm very glad I waited until I'd played a while to buy a quality racquet and even more glad that my husband used a flow chart of sorts to find this one that allowed me to try it and select the same. Mine was marked "8.0 oz" on the plastic cover and it's a good weight for me (5ft 4in x 120#). A friend who is about my height said she tried a lighter version and it was too light. So where have you been (epic pickleball bat) my whole (pickleball life)? I don't know how I survived without you.
