The paddle is expensive

Same as the paddle. I've just started playing so I'll probably appreciate the sense of control as I improve my game. Happy with the paddle. I bought an expensive one to start with so I don't have to update it anytime soon. *This paddle costs $150+. Came in a plastic bag with no protection. Luckily the paddle wasn't damaged, but with poor shipping packaging it certainly could have been.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

VERY disappointed with paddle performance

The paddle I received was dead on both sides. I like hitting the ball with a sponge - I couldn't pick up speed on the ball. Does not correspond to the service description on the website. Despite the promotional description "Smooth fiberglass surface creates unparalleled ball spin and neutralizes your opponent's spin easily and precisely", it was almost impossible to spin the ball. And I can generate very good spin with every other paddle I've tried. Was very disappointed.

Not what I was hoping for

This racket is very different from what I expected. I'm in my 40's and need all the help I can get in getting things done. The range is great, but the narrower surface area really changes the sweet spot, making the paddle less responsive. I don't like the paddle but I fall back to my Onix x5 paddle every time I use it. Onyx was half the price. It's a quality paddle, well built and with a longer handle, I just didn't fall in love with it as much as I thought I would.

  • Dope 🔥

  • Only available in black

All round fantastic paddle

Can't say enough good things about this paddle. After trying some top notch paddles the Selkirk Amped S2 was the clear winner for me in terms of touch, feel and power on demand. If you're a recreational player this racquet probably won't suit your style of play, but if you want to control the game and focus on accurate shots this racquet won't disappoint. This paddle has power, don't get me wrong, but you will have to put more effort into swinging than some other carbon/graphite coated paddles…

Too expensive to last forever

I bought a light Invikta. I was using the paddle for about six months when it started to develop internal cracks and softened. I contacted support and sent them a photo. They accused me of not hitting the ball but hitting other objects or hitting the ground too hard. It never happened. I'm a big guy and I like to hit the ball hard, but during the winter months I mostly played indoors with softer balls. After several emails back and forth they agreed to replace it under warranty. The new one has

Great sport paddle

I have both the medium and this light version (for my wife). First, my wife loves it. We're coming off our starting hands so probably everything is an upgrade. However, these racquets give you a good "feel" for the ball. I don't know how to describe it, but the ball comes off the racquet in a predictable way. It is slightly faster on the net compared to the average weight. And while the medium weight is a little more attractive, the light weight doesn't let up. After playing with both, both…

  • Very good value for money

This racquet is truly 'epic'

I've been playing pickleball for about a year (I have to say I'm addicted - my teammates know exactly what I mean). Although I bought a cheap two-ball racquet before my first game, I've since used an old, not-so-good racquet that I borrowed from the "paddle bags" I play in at the local gym. Meanwhile, my husband started playing around the same time and after six months decided on this particular racquet. And because he loves me, he let me borrow it. Doesn't matter! Playing pickleball with this…

Light Fast Long Love it

I asked a guy how he liked this paddle when I was playing with him about a year ago and he said he liked it liked it and suggested I play with it a bit ? Wow! it was love instantly. I've bought an embarrassing amount of paddles in the last three years and this is my heart. I have a small long version and a light one. It's been over a year now and recently a friend hit him "too hard" with a "good shot" and it hurt him quite a bit. With that, and with the whole game, he suffered quite a bit after

It really is a game changer

I've been playing pickleball for a little over a year and the first paddle I got was an Onix Stryker 4. The transition to the Selkirk was very easy and smooth as well like the handle length and girth very similar for an overall length slightly longer than this Invikta. I have the light version and it's definitely lighter than the Stryker, but not by much. I felt like I could still have powerful serves and hits, but now I have a little more speed in my hands and I've found I can handle my blocks
