As already mentioned, the polarity is reversed on these adapters. But this is a very simple solution. There is no need to cut and solder wires or use crimp connectors. Wrong polarity at the end of 9005/9006 which comes apart very easily with a small flat head screwdriver. Use a small screwdriver to gently pry the red rubber isolators, then use the same screwdriver to press the small tab inside the 9005/9006 connector to allow the wire to slide out the back of the connector. Before disassembling, make sure which side on the connector you want to be positive. Once it's split, the little blades snap back into place and you can slide the insulators back into place. Actually not a bad product, but incorrectly assembled at the factory. But even this small expense of polarity correction is easier than running a complete wiring harness in the car if the factory fog lights are replaced with a few LED bulbs with Deutsch plugs.
