I've been using this type of bottle for years and it works great! I love this bottle as it separates my hair and allows me to apply the product to the roots with one hand and without a separate comb. Also, it's much easier on your hands. I chose 6 ounces. Bottle as I need some more hair dye and don't want to mix a second batch. I wash everything after each use. Yes there are some marks in the slots on the cap but the comb is perfectly cleaned. As others have said if the mixture in the bottle is liquid it may spill if you tilt the bottle or try to shake the bottle to mix the foods. My bottle mixing job is a chopstick.
