Review on CHUWI UBook Quad Cores Touchscreen Full Featured by Timothy Castillo

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I liked this machine at first but read my update before buying

After much research on value and cost, I finally settled on Chuwi UBook to improve my digital drawing/painting game. I could save money and buy an Android tablet, which would probably work just fine, but IU doesn't like Android and prefers the Windows environment. Similarly, I reviewed the iPad, and while it sounds good to match the UBook's features and specs, you literally have to shell out 50% more dollars to reach it. The device comes with a pen and a detachable keyboard. The stylus is very responsive and the keyboard seems to use strong magnets that are very well designed to hold it in place with precision so you don't have to worry about alignment to click it in, it just does. The Windows environment gives me the opportunity to use drawing applications that I was already familiar with, so it was easy for me to get used to my favorite drawing application. Without a keyboard, the "tablet" (which can switch to Android mode, but I don't use it) is hefty, but that makes it much more stable for drawing when I'm sitting in my favorite armchair. When I received the device, there was a small problem that the copy of Windows was not activated. I used the provided VIP card to contact them and Chuwi provided me with the correct activation code relatively quickly, so it's nice to know that they are responsive. I had some very small touchscreen issues, but didn't fix anything. managed to adapt. All in all, I'm very happy with the features packed here, and at a very reasonable price. UPDATED JUNE 25, 2021 For the last 3 weeks I have been trying to get Chuwi to respond regarding a battery that is no longer charging. As you can imagine this is very poor quality for a laptop OR tablet and having to postpone today's big business meeting due to not being able to connect my tablet at home (recovering from eye surgery) I am very dissatisfied in order to. I've emailed 3 times, tried to contact them via FB but apparently it's a different department and they say to use Revain's chat function but THIS takes me to a page that is self-answered and not giving me a chance to type what I need. tell. So now I'm tied to my bedroom where there's only one free outlet. Am I asking too much of Chuwi for him to answer that and at least talk to me? You might want to spend a few hundred dollars more and buy a Surface Pro, and at least there are reputable service points for that. I currently have a well built, solidly built basic paperweight because it's not portable and I've completely wasted my money. If Chuwi wants to contact me, you know where to find me.
