Read reviews on this item. They came "preconfigured" but not the way I wanted to use them. I watched a few YouTube videos on how to set it up. Both came with IP, user and password on the inside of the lid. Connected to the network and programmed for my application. I ran a test with the hotspot on my dresser inside, pointing at the wall facing my shop outside. My shop is only 300 feet from the outside wall where the hotspot used to be. I have a satellite receiver plugged into the front wall of my store as if pointed at an access point. My WiFi speed test was 55 Mbps down and 25 up. Satellite moved to cinder block storage and tested again. Without change. I'll mount them properly on the outside and point at each other, but they will work through the wall as well. You will lose speed, but it will work.
