This cream has really helped my cracked heels. I put it on as soon as I wake up and put my socks on. I feel like this makes the cream last longer. For some reason, foot cream is very hard to find in the skin care line. When I applied the cream without socks and then walked in sneakers, I had the feeling of falling, the soles became very soft and slippery in rubber shoes. I think that bodes well for a very good cream, so I definitely recommend using socks. It has a little foil cap over the opening which I really like as it helps me feel like nobody has tampered with my tube.
