This is the second pet warmer I've bought. I ordered for my dog, when it's cold and I don't want to leave him in the cage all day I leave him in the garage. The garage gets cold so I made sure it was warm enough so this heating pad was a great solution. As soon as my daughter noticed that it was getting hot, she took it and it really did fit her perfectly because it has an automatic switch-off and doesn't heat up that much. Traditional heating pads have been linked to injuries with a particularly high risk of injury for children, primarily because they won't shut off and get too hot. So when my daughter took the first one I felt the need to replace it and I chose this one because it has paw prints which means the chances of her trying to take that one too are pretty slim because it is quite obvious for a dog. And the dog loves it too.
