I have a dog who is about 14 years old and she loves him. It helps your joints. She is also hairless and as it's getting colder this is a big hit. My cats love it as much as my 2 year old little dog. I haven't seen much evidence of chewing because none of my dogs like to chew. One of them peed directly on it and it doesn't pick up the unpleasant smell of urine like other carpets. Excellent purchase.

We love our puppy mat. We have 2 pounds. Chihuahua, and where we live it gets very cold which is great. We started covering him with a blanket, but as you can see she prefers it without a blanket. The auto timer is also impressive. My girlfriend will even stand on it because her feet are cold. She had an accident, her water bottle leaked and was very easy to clean both times. Highly recommended!

I like the size I ordered - perfect for the box I have. My dog likes it but depending on the breed it can be too hot (short haired dogs can suffer from heat more easily than long haired dogs). I use it on my short haired dog on the first or second setting. I like the timer setting so it turns off automatically and I don't have to remember to turn it off later. I don't know how chewable it is as my dog doesn't chew.

Bought for cats. Unfortunately, UPS left the box on the floor. The wildcats must have peed on the box. It smelled bad. I threw the box away. Apparently my cat sniffed it. This is the second pet warmer I've bought. I ordered for my dog, when it's cold and I don't want to leave him in the cage all day I leave him in the garage. The garage gets cold so I made sure it was warm enough so this heating pad was a great solution.
