Cheap and easy entry into macro photography

A few years before the digital age I did a lot of macro photography with Kodachrome 25 and 64 with Canon A1 and auto bellows. what a mess there was back then! Now we are in the digital age where you can do macro photography with a simple secondary lens that can get really good results. For casual photographers who like to get close to their subjects, this lens is great. I can't compare it to other lenses of this type as it's the only one I've used, but it compares well to a lot of the results I got from the old camera. It's not pro level, but if you really don't like IQ all that much, you'll be happy with the images this extra lens produces. A great pocket gadget that will greatly expand your photographic possibilities. Here are three sample images of the lens used on the FZ-300. These were handheld shots - without a tripod, so using a stand allowed for better images.

Pros
  • Keeping my fists tight
Cons
  • Dimly set
