I finally replaced my old part with a new one. When I got the old one I found that it is NOT a direct OEM replacement. The published description doesn't specifically state that the new one had no connection to the low fluid level sensor. Otherwise I think it would be a good fit. Since I've had a new part for over 30 days, it looks like I can't return it. I can't find a way to contact the seller either. my loss
