Worth every penny now we can walk our dog off leash. It took my dog about a month to get used to the new command, but now I use the TONE function instead of yelling "at me" or whatever to get his attention. That's great. I almost never have to shock/vibrate because she knows when she comes when she hears the tone/noise that she won't be shocked. It also allows you to set the shock/vibration to a very low level, you can use it as a means of communicating/reminding your dog rather than hurting them. I bought a backpack for my dog to hold his leash in case I ever meet another person or dog on the trail just to make that person feel more comfortable (this collar makes the "come" command easier)!
