My daughter and I have very curly hair. Our stylist recommended this choice after using it on us the last time we met. To be honest I've never thought about buying and using a guitar pick, but I'm so glad we bought it! It goes through our hair so well, detangling tangles without any fuss or pain. I even use it on my youngest's hair (who is not a curly girl) and it made detangling easy. No tears anymore! For us, the curly-haired ladies in the family, this choice allowed us to deal with tangles without a perm. The best!
