I have a Garmin Forerunner 630. After about 2 years of intensive use, the original strap broke. For this article I chose yellow and black. At first glance, silicone fits much better. It's light, flexible and very comfortable. I have very large wrists and forearms and combined with the exercises the pump expands accordingly. This watch strap seems to be more comfortable. Most of my workouts consist of weightlifting, kettlebells (I take hours off to work with KB), yoga, calisthenics, and a bit of running. With 4 workouts a week plus daily wear, this becomes a challenge. I'll be sure to update it in about 6 months to see how it held up. My only complaint is the yellow part of the strap on the outside. I wish the seller was a little clearer on this, but I have to take some blame for not being more careful.
