Review on Sauder Select 2 Shelf Bookcase 35 276 by Zoey Vaughn

Revainrating 5 out of 5

just as expected

I bought two of these to get around the Sauder Leisure Center and they meet the very high expectations I always have of Sauder furniture. Material: High-density chipboard with a laminate finish, but don't let that fool you. It looks and feels like solid wood without the risk of the wood warping and splitting. Once assembled it feels very solid and looks great. Assembly was easy as I carefully verified the use of the original Sauder concealed fixings. But it can be difficult for a beginner, so be sure to read and follow the well-written instructions. (I made an actual dog food out of the first Sauder piece I tried to assemble years ago, but when I took it apart and read the instructions before assembling it, it came together smoothly and easily.) The bookshelf constraint says : 50 pounds on the bottom shelf, 35 on the middle shelf and 25 on the top, but that's pretty conservative in practice. I have about 100 LPs each on the bottom shelf (yes, I still listen to them sometimes) and a hardcover book on the middle shelf with stereo speakers to the left and right of the central entertainment center without fear of overloading the devices . At around $69 each, these are the best buys in my opinion.
