10 year old LG Fridge Freezer. The water supply line on the back of the device broke and water was squirting out. I picked up a pack of 5 and several LG brand hoses of the right size. With these connectors, it was easy to cut out the old and paste in the new. With normal water consumption in front of the fridge, everything seemed perfect. Our maker has an Ice Plus setting that allows you to quickly make ice. Switched it on and the next day we saw a leak under the clutches. Replaced with two more of 5 packs and a new line. IcePlus has been deactivated. Worked great for 5 days in a row. Ice plus turned on, and a few hours after turning it on, the leak reappeared. A refrigerator can develop almost 100 psi. Not sure if they can handle it. Switch to more expensive versions of John Guest. So get tired of the high PSI usage. The John Guest version can withstand up to 230psi depending on the model. They seemed very easy to use but 4 out of 5 didn't work and can't use the odd duck.
