Great product for my opinion

Surprisingly easy and cheap! This thing is great I've purchased a $13 universal power supply and connected it to this then I hooked it up to an appliance module smart switch on my home automation and viola! When we are sleeping or out of the house this turns off the water supply just in case it leaks when we are not awake or gone. Only downfall that I can see is that it draws about 6 watts to keep it on other than that it's great.

Pros
  • Used it in my flower garden most of the summer connected with a misting kit. Worked great!
Cons
  • Broken after 1 week

Doesn't work. - my new review

I bought one of these in February this year and it worked as advertised, so I ordered 4 more. None of them worked, but since I received the 0.02-0.8 mpa version instead of the 0.0-0.8 mpa that I ordered I returned them and reordered. This time 3 of 4 were the correct version, BUT none of them work. Symptoms are like this, the valve opens and closes fine as long as there is NO pressure on the inlet side BUT it does not open if there is even a little pressure (1 psi or so) on the inlet side. What

Pros
  • Precise Control - The solenoid valve provides instant control over water flow, with zero delays or backflows
Cons
  • May cause water damage

Have not used it yet.

So far I have not used it. It is a bit heavy but it should work well. Will be using it with a Smart switch. Thanks for attention.

I got 2 that didn't work.

I got 2 that didn't work. They clicked without water, but when there was 50PSI of pressure they wouldn't open. (12v .445 amps). Given the number of good reviews, I looked for every possible mistake I could have made (water backwards, wrong voltage, etc.) I'm an Engineer. I contacted support, and they suggested using 1.5amps. This would require 36v! I have a 12v control system. I tried to return, but the company didn't acknowledge. I'm now using Best Buy's A-Z refund process.

Pros
  • Works as intended, very easy hookup
Cons
  • Inconsistent performance

Great for any project.

Works as advertised, low current, doesn't leak, very easy to install. Spade connectors are a standard 1/4" size. Faulty wiring.

Pros
  • works just fine. i use this for an automatic water feed to my keurig coffee maker
Cons
  • Faulty wiring

They hold pressure fine i. e

They hold pressure fine i.e. when the pump is holding the line at the pressure but when the pump is running small amounts will leak through.

Pros
  • Works nice
Cons
  • I bought two of these and one leaked water while in the off position.

Valve works, but gets super hot over time.

Saw some reviews that this valve heats up… after about 20 minutes it reached 165 deg F. I’m going to cycle the valve to allow cool down. A better design would have heat sinks and electromagnetic designed wiring. This likely is built cheap and with little research… so wrong wire gauge and wrong materials.Saw another reviewer complaining about the valve clogging, but this is a water line/drinking water line. The orifice is tiny… if it is clogging, then you need to filter your water.

Pros
  • Product longevity - The DIGITEN DC 12V 1/4" Inlet Feed Water Solenoid Valve is tested to endure more than 100 000 cycles, providing the user with a reliable and long-lasting product
Cons
  • Not worth the effort

Seems to be well made.

I use this valve connected to an Arduino to control a mister attached to a fan. The valve works as you would expect. I like the push-in connectors.

Pros
  • great
Cons
  • Not worth the price

Not bad for the price!

So far, so good. I'm using this as an RO rinse valve in place of the manual valve. I have a Z-wave controller turning on/off a 9 volt DC power supply once a day. Overkill? Sure! At least I won't forget to rinse the RO filter.

Pros
  • Great product and customer support
Cons
  • Frequently malfunctions

So far works great. Only been in service for about a month .

Bought it as part of an auto fill system for a small fountain. So far works great. Only been in service for about a month but my fountain is always full and the birds are happy.

Pros
  • Solenoid Valves
Cons
  • High maintenance

Let's some water through

These work pretty well although four of the six I purchased leak some flow through at 30psi, one of those let's through near full blast while being unplugged (as if it is never "off")

Pros
  • Durable Material - The valve is made of high-quality materials ensuring durability and longevity
Cons
  • Poorly suited for heavy use

Usedto Fill a Humidifier

I connected this valve to a liquid level sensor and a 12 volt power supply to fill my humidifier. It has been working great for 5 straight weeks without a hitch.

Pros
  • ‎4 x 2.1 x 1.3 inches
Cons
  • Faulty design

Works well and very quiet

This valve works well with my Arduino Uno as a water control valve for a fountain water supply. Consumes .4 amps at 12 volts when in operation.

Pros
  • They work, no issues. Mind don't. Leak yet
Cons
  • I have bought 2 of this valves and after 4 hours of straight use they die….

Small solenoid does big job

I connect this moisture sensor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ESSMLQU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 with this little solenoid to auto-water our potted plans and it has been working great for the last few days. Will add another one for our mini-garden soon. If you place it outdoor make sure to protect it from the sun and water. No leaks and pretty solid built. Highly recommend it for manual and automated irrigation system.

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • Incompatible with certain appliances
