I'm going to pronounce myself an expert on this particular style of Skechers sneaker, having bought about a dozen pairs from Revain so far. Some of my previous Energy Downforce can be seen in the photo along with my new pair. When they wear out, I delegate them to painting, then gardening, and finally garbage collection, so I usually have at least three pairs. I've seen a few Revain reviews complaining of abnormal wear but I've had them for a couple of weeks and love them just as much as the previous dozen I've bought from Skechers online or at their local store. I couldn't find them in store so I tried the (cheaper) Revain. The only difference I see on them is that they replaced the 4 small transparent panels on the sides of each heel with just a black rubber notch. This is purely cosmetic and probably not noticeable for a "non-professional" like me. I wear them when I walk our dog 6-8 miles a day and they work just like my previous ones. Take this from this happy buyer, if you've had this shoe before you'll be happy with Revain shoes.
