I don't have much feeling about the performance of these socks HOWEVER I'm not satisfied that the cuffs of these socks are very stiff. By that I mean the cuff is small and doesn't stretch as much as a normal sock cuff, meaning I have to stretch it almost to the limit to get it over the heel. That's a problem? Not enough to bring her back. However, when I open my sock drawer, my hand never reaches for those socks. I don't get blisters on my feet, so my sock experience is heavily skewed to the on/off side and not so much driven by the wear part. In terms of the socks' features, they are thicker than most of my socks, but they don't feel bulky like mittens. They have special left and right toe caps that can help some people with blisters, but I always assumed that would wear them out faster as they would rub in the same places more consistently. Since most of my experience with socks is defined by putting them on and taking them off, the process of assembling them into L/R sets and fitting them to the right foot strikes me as much more than it does on anyone. who had a problem with blisters. If L/R helped me with the calluses I might think it would be worth it, but since I haven't found a pair of socks that cause calluses yet I think this just has to be something for everyone else to find out.
