I ordered the same vest from another company with the same sizing chart and the medium size was perfect for my 11lb Papillon. So I came to order this using the SAME size chart and it was too small. I was planning to return it but it fits my good friend's little baby perfectly (she weighs about 8.5 pounds). She thought it would be cute if both dogs were compatible, so we ordered a large one. And it fits, but it's a little looser than what we've ordered from another company, and it dangles a bit from their small frame. This is a cute cheap vest that will keep you warm on the milder winter days, but the sizing chart is not accurate.
