I was very disappointed that the zip broke every time my 4 lb dog was put on. It's so cute and warm that it would be a great jacket for small dogs if the zipper defect could be fixed. I went by the size description and they fit so no problem!

This vest is perfect for my chihuahua girl who is only about 3.5 pounds. The length is just right. She has enough freedom of movement as long as she only wears a vest or sweater underneath. The only issue I have is that the zipper's teeth aren't aligned like they should, so it wobbles and gets stuck a few times. I bought a different size in a different color for my chihuahua boy who is about 6.5lbs and I have no issues with him so maybe it was just a bad mix. But overall it's a great product.

I thought the coat was heavier than it is. I use it for my short haired long haired dachshund. It's not very cold here yet; but when the temperature dropped she would have to wait until spring to put it on. This is definitely not a dog coat with fur.
