I read the reviews on these binoculars and they piqued my interest so I decided to give it a try. I've had a lot of binoculars, from the cheapest to the Japanese-made Nikon, and I found most were missing something. But I honestly have to say these Bushnells are the most comfortable and enjoyable bang for the buck I've ever used. I was skeptical that they don't have a focus wheel, but that might be their biggest selling point - they really work - your eyes focus whether you wear glasses or not. The eyecups fold down neatly and I can see 95% of the available field with the glasses. Those of you who don't wear glasses will be amazed as the field of view expands. The binoculars will be sharp from a fairly short distance (20 feet?) to infinity. Another advantage of these binoculars is the limited magnification (4X). This eliminates one of the most frustrating features of traditional binoculars - image shake. At Power 4 there is very little judder and it's a pleasure to browse through. Even with low power, I could see sails above the horizon at sea. Can't recommend these binoculars more highly and will buy a second pair.
