But works fine. best in cradles

I bought one of these about 2 months ago. I like the phone mount but it has come out crooked. The sides of the holder need to move back and forth to accommodate different sized phones. After some use, when the left side is fully closed, the right side will stay closed by about 3/4 inch. There is a ratchet that controls the position of the sides. 7-8 teeth of the ratchet are visible on the right side when the left side is fully closed. I really don't want to close the right side for fear I might break it. I really like using the cup holder. This works fine for my purpose, but I'm afraid it won't lock the phone if this problem persists or gets worse.
