BAD! The two USB ports are connected to a USB 2.1 hub and do not deliver USB 3.0 speeds. So while they're blue and labeled as USB 3.0, which may be true, they're connected to an internal USB 2.1 hub in the device, so they can only deliver 480Mbps USB 2.1 speeds. You don't get the USB 3.0 5Gb/s speeds you would expect. So if you plug in a USB flash drive or USB external hard drive, you are only limited to 480Mbps and cannot use the full potential performance of your USB device. Good. The memory card slots are internally connected via a USB 3.1 hub and deliver the expected 5 Gbps speed. Hub, then I think this device is a good buy. Just don't be fooled, you can plug a USB 3.0 flash drive into this device and get great speeds. I have purchased the regular USB version and the USB-C version of this device and this review applies to both versions of this device.
