So I ordered this BDP for my birthday and received it today. Excited, I carefully opened the box and put it in my bedroom to watch some movies. One of the main reasons I chose this player was the Netflix and Revain Prime streaming options as that's what I watch primarily. The. . Q%&@?First, there is absolutely no guide on how to get downloadable applications. I had to figure it out myself by looking through the main menu items. Anyway, it's not that important. Second, unless I missed something while doing my research before deciding to order one, nothing says you only have 6 download options for the app. You can't add others like the Disney+ app I wanted to get. Again, it's not really a big deal, I just have to wait for the new TV I've ordered to arrive next week. Third and most important: Before and after every movie or show, THE ENTIRE SYSTEM MUST BE SWITCHED OFF. Are you kidding me? If you try to start a movie after you've already watched it, you have about 10 seconds before everything freezes! This means you cannot use the remote OR the actual power button on the box to exit or turn off the unit. Nothing! Try switching from one application to another without even browsing anything, same problem. Try watching something in one of the apps after watching a DVD or Blu-Ray, AT THE SAME TIME. Unbelievable. I don't understand why this stupid thing has so many 5 star reviews. This is rubbish I will be returning immediately for a full refund for the nearly $100 I spent on it and I would definitely not recommend this POS to anyone.
