I do like these boots. They were exactly what I was looking for and I thought that I read that they were true to size. They are an entire size too large. They did not come in a box, but a plastic bag. I knew as soon as I saw that there was a just another plastic bag inside of the shipping bag that they were too big. I thought a box inside of the shipping bag accounted for the size. I actually like that they are slightly large in width as well because I did intend to wear thick socks and it seems like these would still be quite comfortable. I don't want to bother with figuring out the exchange or a return, but they will make a good gift for someone.
