Review on 🔧 Dorman 674-161: High-Quality Passenger Side Exhaust Manifold for Chevrolet/GMC Models by Garon Tafolla

My engine has a VIN 'N' (8th character in the VIN - is the engine code) and Dorman 674-161 is a direct replacement for the passenger side (674-159 for the driver). Made in China. Look carefully for porous casting (holes), excess slag in the ports and if you're smart, use a file to smack the ribs around the spark plug holes to smooth the casting. If you don't, you may find it difficult to fit spark plugs. Kit does not include manifold bolts (depending on engine you will need 8 on each side or 7 and a bolt), only exhaust manifold flange bolts (used to connect the Y-pipe to the manifold). If your OEM bolts are 3/8"-16 x 2&1/2" pointed point you will need DORMAN 03112 bolts which are sold in a pack of 3. They're pretty hard to find and if you "see if it fits your car" it will say no. Even on the DORMAN website. But they are wrong. With the exception of the CA exhaust ports/bolts, these headers are identical to the GM OEM headers. There are no installation problems. I used Summit Racing.com SCE Pro E13187 Annealed Copper Exhaust Gaskets and they matched the size of the header fittings perfectly.
