The supplied HDMI cable does not work properly

I bought this monitor as a cheap 32" monitor. I use it mainly for editing programs, mail and some games. The increased screen real estate in Windows is great! But the supplied HDMI cable doesn't handle 4K@60 well. The Video disappeared for a few seconds and then reappeared. This happens at random intervals. Very intrusive. Reinstalling the cable didn't help. I replaced the HDMI cable with a certified (certified premium HDMI cable) for this resolution, and the problem didn't come back.
