Review on SmallRig M50/M50 II/M5 Cage (Upgraded): Aluminum Alloy Video Film Movie Making Rig with Integrated Grip and NATO Rail for Canon EOS M50/M50 II/M5 2168C by Jeremy Meza

I've heard a lot of people love SmallRig cages and when I needed a cage for my new Canon M50 I went with this one. To be honest I was a bit pissed at the price at first but now that I've used it it's worth every penny. This thing transformed my M50. The Canon M50 is a small body camera and the battery/memory card access door on the bottom is a bit cumbersome. OK, big problem! With the SmallRig Cage, the grip is now bigger and I feel much better in my hand. Built-in Swiss ARCA rail on the bottom AND open access battery compartment for easy access. It is much easier to remove the camera from the tripod and access the battery and/or memory card since the QR plate does not have to be removed from the camera every time. A bonus are all of the cage's threaded attachment points which allow me to easily attach mics, lights and more. The cage also provides some protection for the camera. I love my M50 and this SmallRig cage is a big reason why! PS - The fit and finish is top notch too - Buy it, you won't regret it!
