I used three of these to replace the original lights on my 1977 Trojan F26 The old ones were so brittle they fell apart in my hands when I thought of simply replacing the old 10W bulbs with LEDs. The new headlights are mounted on the brackets of the old ones. They give off a nice bright white light and when all 3 are on they draw less than 4 amps. I like the faint blue light around the switch which makes it easy to find the light in a dark boat. I have no problem with the trim ring being difficult to remove once installed. The durability of the LEDs is such that they work well as long as I grow daisies.
