This product looks very good on the product page but looks a bit cheap upon receipt due to the use of inferior materials for its relatively high price. What looks like nice shiny blue metal parts turned out to be cheap plastic. So I'm concerned about its functional longevity. However, the product works perfectly after 1 week of use. I hope I don't have to look up how to get a warranty on this item because I couldn't find any information about it. But as long as it's good, I'll keep my fingers crossed. Update: My splitter failed after about 5 months of regular use but I replied to envel's original guarantee letter and they sent me a new one straight away, the rep was very nice. Also. However, they emailed me to say they only offer 2 years warranty support and not the 3 years as advertised. The shiny blue parts of the new product I have now received appear to be made of light alloy so I loved seeing that.
